Imagine you are at your family reunion and a strange person walks up with a smile ready to receive a hug and says your name. You are trying to search your memory for a name or an events so you don’t have to say the awkward, “Hey, you?!” After the embarrassing encounter, you ask a relative you know that knows everyone, “Who is that person?”. The relative replies, “Oh, that’s your mother’s, uncle’s, brother.” After doing some mental family tree arithmetic, you now knows that’s your great uncle.  How exciting!
